The 43rd Annual Frontiers in Education (FIE) Conference is the major international conference about educational innovations and research in engineering and computing. FIE 2013 continues a long tradition of disseminating results in these areas. It is an ideal forum for sharing ideas; learning about developments in computer science, engineering, and technology education; and interacting with colleagues in these fields.

Presentation Formats
Proposals for participation in the 2013 FIE Conference can be submitted in the following formats:
• Papers: full paper
• Papers: work-in-progress (WIP)
• Special sessions
• Panels
• Pre-Conference Workshops

• In-Conference Mini-Workshops

Paper Categories
FIE welcomes full papers and works-in-progress (WIP) that address the broad categories of innovative practice, research-to-practice, and research. Additional information may be found on the FIE 2013 website.
Proposals are submitted in a two-stage process. Initial versions of proposals (abstracts in the case of papers) must be submitted in January 2013. These proposals will be reviewed by the program committee and authors of those selected will be invited to submit for the second stage of the process. Full versions will be due in early April 2013. Submissions in the paper categories will be peer-reviewed. Camera ready versions of papers and session descriptions will be due in early June 2013 for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
